Calls to 1194<\/em> is a 50-minute, immersive and audio\/visual experience where Sandra Thibodeaux performs her text within a live soundtrack played and improvised by Panos Couros on a subharmonicon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His<\/em> Moog<\/em> subharmonicon<\/em> creates<\/em> an<\/em> impossibly<\/em> ideal<\/em> accompaniment<\/em> \u2013<\/em> growling,<\/em> groaning,<\/em> heaving<\/em> like<\/em> the<\/em> waves,<\/em> with<\/em> a<\/em> bassline<\/em> that<\/em> rattles<\/em> your<\/em> bones<\/em> and<\/em> tonal<\/em> variations<\/em> that<\/em> make<\/em> your<\/em> skin<\/em> tingle<\/em>.<\/p>Geoffrey Williams, <\/strong>Stage<\/em> <\/strong>Whispers<\/em><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Occasionally, we have the opportunity to experience theatre that transports us into something like an ethereal flight through time and place.
