THE TEAM

The team consists of playwright/performer Sandra Thibodeaux, electronic composer/musician Panos Couros and videographer
Naina Sen. 

Sandra Thibodeaux (writer/performer) is a playwright, screenwriter and poet. She has written 18 plays that have been staged as part of festivals across Australia and Indonesia, and broadcast on Radio National. Her latest plays include The Age of Bones, A Smoke Social, Mr Takahashi (and other falling secrets) and The Lion Tamer. Sandra has won NT Literary Awards for her plays three times, and has been short-listed for the Patrick White, Griffin and Green Room awards. Sandra has published four collections of poetry, with the latest being Dirty H2O (Mulla Mulla Press). In 2011, she was Australia Poetry’s Poet-in-Residence. 

Panos Couros (sound designer / composer / electronic musician) is an electronic music artist, creating works for the Sydney Dance Company, Garry Stewart and Tess de Quincey. In Darwin, he scored Goose Lagoon for Garry Lang’s NT Dance Company and sound designed Highway of Lost HeartsThe Adventures of Namikili; The Lion Tamer; The Glass Menagerie and The Age of Bones. His sound Installations include Omphalos for the Greek Festival of Sydney; a noise of worms at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney; and a rainforest soundscape for Sydney Festival. http://panx.com.au  

Naina Sen (videographer) Born in New Delhi, Naina Sen is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, creative producer and video installation/projection artist specialising in cross-cultural storytelling. Completing her Masters in Media Studies in 2003, she has lived and worked in Australia ever since. Naina is best known for her debut feature documentary, The Song Keepers, which premiered at MIFF to critical acclaim. In 2020, Naina directed and produced Jimmy Shu’s Taste of the Territory for SBS Food. Her theatre work has included videography/projection for Tessa Rose’s Daly River Girl. http://nainasen.com.au/about
